There's a lot of footage in this film that is a shot on the show. i actually shot by a member of the crew in the early eighties, a man by the name of victor denapole,. He was an art director on the show and his idea was to make a documentary about the making of sesame street. And so from 19 81 to 19 83, he shot a ton of beautiful 16 millimeter footage. Little bits had been used in compilation reels that the sesame workshop put together but tiny, little bits, we got the bulk of this amazing, intimate, personal material.
