The Cat in the Story Is a Very Good Book

I still think this third section leaves me colder than the other sections for a variety of reasons but I did like the sort of meditations on hope that sort of come to fruition in section three even though it's a totally happens in these very hopeless moments. There's just a short passage where after the nuclear event happens and there's the ten day freeze and then everyone's kind of girded for this to be the end of the world again. It starts sort of thinking about how hope creeps back up on you and you do plan for the future even when you sort of feel like there is no future.
