Introduction

This week, we are recharging in nature by looking at how stepping out into world country replenishes our well-being batteries. But there's a disconnect for drivers of electric cars, like the one we're sitting in. Many of the national parks are very much off-grid, paradoxically putting those doing their bit for the environment with an electric car from benefiting through potential fear of running out of charge. Fortunately, there's now a new initiative to solve the problem by powering up national parks with improved charging infrastructure and also investing in their conservation and boosting biodiversity.
