H.Pylori Test and Treat for Dyspepsia
H.Pylori test and treat is actually higher on the management algorithm for the dyspeptic patient younger than age 60 at this point. The breath test can have false negatives depending on recent antibiotic use or other influences, so I tend to get that more often just because it's probably the quickest to get from that standpoint. If they're already on a PPI, right, there's a waiting... Isn't it like a two-way usually? Right. And again, you could do it very similarly to what we talked about for reflux. Give it a time-limited course, eight weeks, one-sdaily therapy. See if they have any benefit from that PPI
