The Importance of Sucking Up Wounds
In English, cuts that are superficial on the surface are called scrapes or scratches. When they're deeper, we call them a wound. Lucas's cousin numbed his toe with local anesthesia and stitched it up. She told him to clean it twice a day and take some over-the-counter pain meds as needed. In just 10 days, he was able to remove the stitches.
