I Think the Portrayal of the Student Is a Little Bit of a Caricature
I think the portrayal of the student is almost tips into that realm of caricature and I agree with what you're saying in that that scene is not actually a dialogue on the subject. It's more so in how that scene position is positioned within the the movie as a whole and what the film as a whole is saying to other people.
