The Importance of Fairness in Radio
In 1987, the FCC repeals what's called the fairness doctrine. This meant that radio stations could now publish commentary about literally whatever they wanted without having to present any opposing views. That's how Fox News really popped off. Rush Limbaugh was always very red and angry. So you know, he starts building up this audience. There's like a bunch of callers being like, he changed my life. But the real thing that I saw and highlighted was he like helps me reject quote victimology - which is an idea that's going to come back in the manosphere.
