Nebuchadnezzar's Rebellion

In the 9th year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar is probably by this point tired of Jerusalem. He rebels against Babylon and he rebels against Babylon on his own. There was no divine imprimatur. God did not send a prophet to say, Hey, is that a guy? I want you to rebel against the king of Babylon. Some false prophets would have said that, but not, not God's true prophet.
