What's the Difference Between a Dillinger Band and a Hardcore Band?

Dillinger was a bridge between the more sort of punk rock noise rock scene and then the hardcore scene. Dillinger has digitized all these shows and he releases them, you know, as best he can 25 years to the date after they happened. The 90s were a time when there were way more mixed bills and bands that were really different that played together or were on comps together.
