How Did You Go From Wall Street to Here?
Sally Kohn: I grew up as a child of first generation immigrants. My parents followed a very traditional immigrant playbook, which is work study hard and be happy. So that got me to computer science, fancy university, Wall Street. But what happened was kind of like the hedonic adaptation. And so it was less about an examination, an inward examination. Like this thing's actually how I got the courage to do it for three years. He had earmarked this chapter for 18 months until I ran out of money.
