The Benefits of Dialysis for Kiddos
There's a very big variety in terms of kind of what we see. The two machines that we use the most are the Carpe Diem and the other one is something called Aquidex. They're used as usually continuous renal replacement therapy. And they can be used to treat patients for a period of hours, days to weeks. Most patients who have AKI have some sort of insult and their kiddies are going to recover with time and just nephron recovery.
