Is There a Creative Director in Games?
The contrast i keep thinking about is anthem, which i also wrote a long story about a few years ago at catako. And the issue was with anthem was that they didn't have a creative director making decisions. That can be as big an issue, if not an even worse issue, than having a director who's constantly changing things and being too heavy handed. So it's really like what you need is this platonic, idolic, idyllic notion of the of the creative director. I feel like numberson and knowing what to hot and what to compromise ly, like all people.
