The Roman Empire Didn't Fall, but the Eastern Empire Persisted Just Fine

The roman empire as such didn't fall, ok? That is a myth right there that we have to dispel. The eastern part of the empire continued to march on through the centuries and functioned perfect well. It's only the western empire that gradually fell apart. And it was not a cataclysmic fall, you know, it wasn't a bunch of barbarians riding in and whopping everyone on the head and that was the end of it.
