The Misconception of a Forensic Report in a Murder Case
The courts are using something called streamlined forensic reports. They deliberately bypasses the experts duty to disclose that sort of information which might identify limitations and the context for the defense to look at. And we've seen an example just very recently where one of these streamlined reports was provided to a murder case, where the defendant had said that he was by a particular knife. That knife had the defendant's blood on it proving what he had said in interview,. The trail of blood on the floor belong to the defendant and not the deceased.
