Prayer - The Experience of Prayer

Prayer is as comfortably relational as a neighbour ringing her neighbour's door bell to ask for a pinch off of her sour dose starter. Jesus did not merely come to redeem the world, but then invited the likes of us fallen men and women to participate with him in that redemption. And there is perhaps no greater means of participation in redemption, of empowerment, than petitionary prayer or asking prayer.
