The Complications of a Complex Care Needs Man

A 63-year-old man was admitted to hospital with rarecured cancer. He had multiple surgeries and needed four litres of fluid intravenously every day. Doctors realised there wasn't really anything more that they could do for him. But he couldn't go home on the fluids, so staff from nursing homes were called in. It ended up taking three hours a day for nurses to change his ostomy bags.
