In this chapter, I'm dealing with the debate about whether or not China in the past had a unique trajectory of historical development. The issue of the relationship between European history and Asian history is an ambiguous point in Marxist-Kissar biography. R. Max did not really clearly explain everything. Stalin did not really have concrete answers for all these ideological debates regarding the relationship between the East and the West.
