The Gift of God in Jesus Christ

The message of the gospel is perhaps the most familiar one that we've ever seen. God has always desired to save the world because of his great love for the world. He created the world for relationship with him, but it was through sin that that relationship was severed and yet now Christ has come as a gift of the father. Our salvation is by grace through faith, not of ourselves, right? And it says not of works.
