We don't understand how humans, how the human mind processes, process uch such a thing that well, so are we being like, incredibly hubristic to think that we can design machine that can handle all this? He thinks academics bear a responsibility to notify the public when perhaps technology is kind of escaping the barn a little homely before it's been properly ibetded. And indeed, i think that's what's happened here, is that we've got some basic research technologies that have been overhiped by silicon valley and by some other academics.
