How to Avoid Medical Jargon in Care Conversations
Avoid medical jargon whenever you can. Inclusion of non-physicians in the meetings right so there's often cases where the nurse maybe there's been a social worker that's been visiting with this patient for weeks and weeks a chaplain that's been visited with this patient to help support those patients and families. Think about using interpreters whether on video or in-person because their role is quite important, they're affected just like everyone else is. And then include them in the debrief after to check in and see how they're doing.
