Do You Want to Disempower the Allocation System?

I want to disempower the arrogance that has come to be associated with the system of reward in recent decades. I call it meritocratic hubris this is the tendency of the successful to forget the luck and good fortune that helped them on their way. To do that is quite an ambitious political undertaking but requires a morally more robust kind of public discourse.
