The Importance of Using Tools We Can't Control

Is it better to just use simple tools or take advantage of complex ones, which allow you to build more productive systems with the risk of potentially losing them? So like if we stuck to just really basic tools, it's more easily replaceable. But when you start using automation systems, Zapier and ifTTT workflow to create more robust and powerful systems, you open yourself up to the danger of these things going away. It's like, is it better to have loved and lost and never to have loved at all? That's basically the question that I'm asking. We'll return to that later.
