Former agriculture minister robert goodwill is new chair of the environment, food and rural fare select committee. We asked him if he felt that being a former ag Minister was an advantage or disadvantage. He said it's his job to facilitate scrutiny here rather than the leader of the party. The panel has representation from all political parties so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
