Most of science works like this: you have a question, and then you look at data in the comrtex or that question. It's the empirical method, right? We go, yes, a question to nature exactly. But then nature often doesn't give you the kind of answer that you it like. Often you get an answer that is different from the kind of answers that you are looking for.
