How Do You Aline With Your Organizational Goals?

One of the things that i feel like staff plus engineers do a lot of is sort of finding how to aline with the organizational goals. I really just always try to keep abreast or aware of what's going on in my organization, as well as the business objectives and basically seein how i can fit in. Do you do any sort of formal measurement or o krs, or anything like that with the organization to make sure that you're an aligment? We just started doing those for security.
