Can We Align Incentives?
CNN's John Sutter asks people how to explain that a tax on the rich is not going to solve everything. He starts by asking, what do you think a fair tax rate is if we're to tax these incomes fairly? And he says there's no right or wrong answer; it's simply your opinion as to what is fair. The top 1% pay about 32%. The middle class pays around 16%. and the bottom 20% pay around 5%.
