The Supreme Court's Decisions on Race
The US Supreme Court cases this gets from the silly to the sillier. A baker who offers their services to the public wanted to bake wedding cakes for heterosexual couples only. Now, a website designer who offered their services once only to design wedding websites for heterosexual couples will go before the U.S. Supreme Court under the Free Speech Clause. Remarkable stuff. And we'll all keep an eye on those decisions. Next week's show will also think about how High Court Judges are appointed in Australia - and some of those judges like Amy Coney-Barratt and Brett Kavanaugh have been subject of very high-profile appointment battles.
