Is the Three % Far Enough?
Virgil has been criticised for his use of irony and re-interpreting the world. The designer's famous quote that every new design can be created by just changing three % of something else led to allegations of plagiarism. He never shied away from letting you kow what he was referencing, which i believe is kind of like a musician's approach to things,. It's like, we'r going to tell you what the sample is because we sampled it, and that now we're using it as the ascendant's new.
