Lunch passed by incredibly slowly in the library. There was a weird energy in the place and I didn't like being there. We still patrolled every day but we'd see nothing. On Friday afternoon after just half an hour of playing Scrabble I suggested it because I wanted a game I could actually win. It seemed Mrs Cowper was not coming back so now we really were a board games club.
