Redesigning the Currency
We've had the same color, i think, since sie civil war. The legacy features convey stability in our currency. So not only do we not redesign the stuff, but we don't pull older notes from circulation either. In other countries, a complete re design deprecates the old design. After a certain date, the old currency is shredded by the central bank and you can no longer spend any that you have left. This has never been the case in the us.
