The Origins of Wine Grapes in Europe

Every modern grape used for wine in Europe is linked back to one specific cultivar from Israel. Study found grapes were cultivated somewhere in western Asia and then over 900 miles away in the Caucasus. Winakers believe that Israeli wild grapes are going to help wine survive certain extinction.
