The Intimation of Past Experiences

The poet's whole notion of the intimation, you know, when he's writing about Tintra Nabi comes out of the past experiences of your particular past. And if we understand that we are, have that ancestral current running through us, which Wordsworth does, and he manages to slow the current down just enough so you can feel not just your own childhood, constantly at play in you. The word presence itself carries that, that meaning, allows you then to envision, even if fearfully, the future.
