The Importance of Due Diligence in Consulting

A lot of times what we hear anecdotally is that institutions may gravitate toward a more well known organization or one they've had business in the past that's been extremely successful. But this line jumped out at me relying solely on experience with or prior knowledge of a third party is not an adequate proxy for performing appropriate due diligence because you know obviously that organization may be able to handle the project, but maybe not so much.
