I never ever felt for a moment that I was being filmed because there was too much going on. When we arrived we all got into our possession in a right order and then at a given moment the Queen turned round and said are you ready girls? Real course of yes ma'am. We could see a bit of it because we were quite close and it was extraordinarily moving. For millions of television viewers there came the scenes from inside the Abbey as when the Queen made her way towards the coronation theatre. She didn't think that that part of the service should be filmed because it was too sacred and too intimate it shouldn't be seen, she says.
