Union Carbide - The First Lawsuit

In the immediate wake of the disaster, union carbides set to work trying to avoid any blame for this calamity there incompetence and mismanagement had brought into the world. First lawsuit against Union Carbide landed on December 7th, less than a week after the disaster. The first great piece of journalism on the disaster was published in January by the New York Times based on dozens of interviews with plant workers.
