Mia Catherine Zapata's Death

Mia Catherine Zapata was found dead in a Seattle street on July 7, 1993. She had been beaten, violated and strangled with her body cold to the touch. A new DNA profile extracted from Mia's bite marks led police to arrest Jesus Miskia based on cooperating DNA evidence. The Gits were an Ohio-based punk rock band who moved to Seattle for music success. They saw their dreams cut short when Mia was murdered after drinking at a local bar.
