The black comics that focus on the black experienced, i think athey, vide a way to talk about it without just being too overwhelmed with despair. The big one is chapel and chapel. Justnow, you get the sense that his comedy is, i mean, i guess this is true of a lot of comedians, but it comes from a source of such deep inner pain. It's like communicating to you that there there is truth there either, then it's not as funny to me.
