Skyfall - The Best Bond Movie Ever Made
The idea that this guy might have a complicated relationship with his childhood, or a, you know, his parentage is really what this series tried to do. Skyfall is, i think, easily the best bond film ever made. And it struck me that would bond movies make more sense if they actually did what m c u movies claim that they are doing and transform into these sub genras. Could could the bond movie be pliable? And would the audience accept that if it lowered its stakes, if it focused on a single villain instead of a world wide enterprise attempting to take down all of asia? I wonder if audiences would accept that there is all this expectation.
