"If you're not in the river, panning for gold, you're never gonna find nuggets," he says. "My life has always been like that, I've been somewhere at a party, and been met someone, and all of a sudden, something fucking, and then a whole life changer." The troubadour's home studio is one of the most underrated venues in the U.S., according to singer-songwriter. He recalls thinking: If I'm proud of it in 10 years, I'll be fine.
