What Is Whale Poop?

There are only a few hundred right whales left due to 200 years of being hunted and killed for their meat, oil, and bones. When whales dive beneath the seas to feed and come up to the surface to breathe, they actually release these huge fecal plumes. Whales act as a taxi service of sorts for fertilizer with their feces, taking it from places that have it to places that need it.
