How to Use Technical Indicators and Parameters to Optimize Your Strategies
I think it's okay to use technical indicators and stuff that have look back parameters, but I just don't think it's smart to optimize those look back parameters. If you want to use one as like a regime filter or something like that, that's completely valid and that's something that I'll do. But to optimize, you know, should it be the 19 or the 27 or the 50 day moving average, to me, that's kind of murky water. Yeah, looking at your Twitter feed, you post a lot of screenshots of kind of signals that your systems are generating. They seem to be very focused around volume and volatility. Do these sort of things play a big impact?
