Introduction

Sister Shahidah Rahman is an author and writer. She writes historical fiction, nonfiction and children's stories. Her father came to Cambridge from East Pakistan in 1957; she was born two days before the independence. "Cambridge has been our home or all our life," Sister Shahidah says.
