The First President of the United States, Barack Obama

"We must reflect on all have been afforded while continuing the work of insuring no one is left out or left behind because of who they are or where they come from," Obama writes. "Let us strive to lift up others, promote tolerance and inclusiveness and give thanks for the joy and love that surround all of us now" The president also mentions religious institutions as one place where thanks can be given up -- but god appears nowhere in that, at least in name.
