The Status Game Is More Complex Than There Isy
We play multiple games for status at once, says Andi Lake. Money is a way that we measure status and it's not the only way to do so. We are incredibly imaginative creatures who live in these worlds of shared imagination. There are literally infinite status games that we can choose to play. That's what human social life is. You know, work is a status game. A social media is astatus game. T wherever you see people behaving in a way that the more they behave this way, the higher they go up in a kind of status hierarchy.
