The Importance of Recanting

In a thousand ways, Christianity was just weird. And it's a small step from being perceived as odd to dangerous or threat to the Republic. These were people who encountered the living God, converted and found their lives materially worse because they were Christian. So what do you do? What do we do? Where Christianity is the thing between us and a seemingly simpler life. To recant, turn away from the faith, to resist, to redefine the faith. You guys walk away. It's too hard to do.
