The Burke Hare Murders

Burn's body was stolen and taken back to hunter. Hunter reduced burn's body to a skeleton and, four years later, put it on display in his museum. Burns skeleton has remained the museum's show piece for over two centuries. In 20 12, there was a public movement to take burne skeleton off display and finally give him the burial he wanted. The museum decided to continue their exhibit because hunter was rich and well respected. He got aay with it. Whereas a less connected man would have at least been investigated for the obvious, theft of burn's body. Instead, he got his name on a museum after all, he wasn't a no good body snatcher. Why?
