The Dangers of Recognizing Our True Desires
Desire is the little spark within that tells us what a meaningful life would be. But we block ourselves from having total awareness of it when we begin to feel as though acknowledging what we truly want is dangerous. We operate with this sense of if something good arrives in my life, I need to hold my breath until it's counterbalanced by something equally bad or worse. This is a generally false perception that we develop as a way of shielding the ego from ego death truthfully.
