The Importance of Hospice Modernity in a Time of Endings
Hospice modernity is not trying to save it or kill it but what we are attending to in a hospice sense. I end up by the end of my book with this kind of map like back of an envelope map of four kinds of tasks that might make sense in a time of endings. We get to see and talk about things which it was a lot harder to see or to talk about even 10 or 20 years ago. 25 of the 30 years of increase of life expectancy in the first nine decades of the 20th century in the US It's down to public health not hospital medicine.
