The Seed Experiment
In 18 79, a scientist here by the name of beale planted the seed experiment. William james beale was pioneering plant biologist. He did lots of amazing things, probably the most famous of which was to develop hybrid corn. So that makes him famous in certain circles, i imagine crop circles. But he also set up an experiment that would last a hundred years. Only famous experiments get names.
