Elijah has obviously left his hideout with a widow in Zerephoth, and he has gone to meet Obadiah. By the way, there was no baths for like a month. That also probably made the situation tense. So you can tell from this, then that Obadiah's reaction to just running into Elijah out here in the middle of nowhere is not necessarily positive.
